The Thai Gem and Jewelry Association (TGJTA) will promoted its new service, the Online Sourcing Project (OSP), at the 42nd Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair this month.
Somchai Phornchindarak, CEO of TGJTA's Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair, noted: "The OSP service is a perfect tool for prospective gem and jewelry buyers who require a roadmap for navigating the Thai gem and jewelry industry. The massive size and varied supply of Thai industry is one of our greatest strengths, but it can be overwhelming for visitors. OSP is designed to simplify their job, by enabling them to search for and pinpoint the exact gem and jewelry products that they are interested in sourcing."
Vichai Assarasakorn, TGJTA's President, noted: "OSP was developed as part of our program to make Bangkok Asia's undisputed trading hub for gems and jewelry. It can be used at any time, all year round. By offering a service that includes private buyers meetings, selective email info-blasting by subscription and a regular OSP news service, we aim to lower the threshold to our industry. Indeed, even before we have begun promoting the service, it has already shown itself to be a considerable success."
